Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition characterized by excessive sweating beyond what is required for normal temperature regulation. While sweating is a natural physiological response that helps cool the body, individuals with hyperhidrosis experience overactive sweat gland stimulation that may occur even in cool environments or without physical exertion.

How Hyperhidrosis Treatment Works
Neuromodulators such as Botox® work by temporarily blocking the chemical signals released by nerves that activate sweat glands.
Normally, the sympathetic nervous system stimulates eccrine sweat glands through the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. In individuals with hyperhidrosis, these signals become excessive or overactive, causing disproportionate sweating.
When Botox® is carefully injected into the treatment area:
